What it is

My Capstone Box rents finished shipping-container offices to contractors and developers for job sites in Massachusetts, month to month, with climate control, workstations and screens for drawings already inside.

Most job sites still get the same thing: a trailer, a folding desk and an air conditioner that cannot keep up. A container office is a finished room instead, with insulated walls, real lighting, workstations and a place to sit the owner down and walk through the plans.

Every unit starts as a steel shipping container, so the structure is already there. It is retrofitted inside a modular-building facility under an architect's stamp and engineering, then delivered to your site ready to work in.

Rent it for the length of the job. When the project wraps up, it goes back, gets refreshed and moves to the next site.

Questions people ask

How is this different from an office trailer?

A trailer is a box with a desk. A container office is a finished room: insulated, climate controlled, lit, with workstations and a screen for drawings, built to look like a real office when the client visits the site.

How fast can a unit be ready?

Each unit is a shipping container retrofitted in a modular-building facility. The build-out takes under 30 days from the start of the build.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Units are rented month to month, so you keep it for as long as the project or the lease-up needs it.

Can I put the drawings up on a screen?

Yes. The units are set up with screens so the team can pull up drawings and walk through them together.

Where do you deliver?

Massachusetts and New England, with a focus on the towns outside Boston from Quincy to Burlington and down the corridor to Foxborough. Ask about your site.
