My Capstone Box is its own company, based in Foxborough, Massachusetts, started by the team behind Capstone Design Partners.
Why containers
Our team also runs Capstone Design Partners, a design-build remodeler around Greater Boston. On those job sites we kept seeing the same thing: a trailer, a desk and an air conditioner that could not keep up. So we started building our own offices out of shipping containers, finished like a real room, with screens to put the drawings up.
When we showed them at two New England trade shows, contractors and developers asked to rent them. My Capstone Box is that: the same units, rented month to month to anyone who needs a real room on site.
How they are built
A container already has the structure, which is why a unit can be finished in under 30 days. The work happens inside a modular-building facility, under an architect's stamp with the engineering in place, and each container is reused from one project to the next.
The team also built container units for summer 2026 events in Boston and Providence. The images on this site are design renderings of the units in build; photos of delivered units will replace them as they go out.
